TheDC1002 table series offer an extensive demographic analysis of the U.S. population for each age level by State for the years 2006 to 2024.
The tables are organised:
- DC1002 showcasing overall state populations at each age level
- DC1002M detailing male population at each age level
- DC1002F detailing female population at each age level
Each table consists of 21 columns across 4,438 rows, summing up to 93,219 observations that reflect the population without filters. The 85+ year old age groups have been carefully aggregated, with special average ages assigned for groups 85-89 and 90+.
The dataset covers all 50 states plus the District of Columbia, providing a comprehensive state-residence breakdown.
